Step – 1 – scraping the parquet – removing the finishing layer, down to the wood, 1 micron or even 2mm. This operation is carried out with parquet sanding machines. The grit of the parquet sanding strips can vary between 16 - 80 depending on the condition of the parquet.
Step - 2 - applying a parquet putty, in order to fill the joints between the parquet slats; The parquet putty is a colorless to yellowish binder that is mixed with fine sawdust resulting from the sanding of the parquet, which is to be applied to the parquet surface with the help of a spatula.
Step – 3 – sanding the parquet surface to remove putty residues. This operation is carried out with parquet sanding machines, the grit of the sanding strips can vary between 80 – 120.
Step - 4 - applying two layers with colorless, ecological varnish for parquet - varnish that also has the physical-chemical-mechanical properties of a special primer for parquet (valid for situations when you want the parquet to remain natural, without changing the color of the parquet )
Step – 5 – intermediate sanding between varnish layers to smooth the pores. This operation is carried out with parquet sanding machines - monodisc type - the grit of the parquet sanding discs can vary between 120/220.
Step - 6 - the varnishing operation to give the surface a glossy, matte or satin appearance, as desired. This final varnish layer will also determine the resistance of the parquet over time.
